Arthdal chronicles season 1 ended last week and on the bright side we only waited for a week for season 2 now, as usual, this is a recap and there are bound to be spoilers so let's proceed what exactly happened in season 2 episode 1.
Season 1 ended with a big reveal about the trio who will bring destruction to the world.
The episode begins with eunsome and yang cha fighting while Tanya finds saya in the high tower and it turns out that the boy is also an igutu meanwhile mihol burns the plans for creating bronze weapons in order to make a deal with tagon because he is the only person who can create bronze weapons after that tagon takes him away,
Tagon finds out about Tanya and kills a soldier who finds out about saya after that he locks her up tanya and taealha asks tagon to kill her because she knows that Saya is an igutu. In order to survive, Tanya uses eunsome's dreams about saya and the woman he loved who might be killed by Taealha. she convinces them and stays alive and later she gets trained by Hae Tuk and learns how things work.
Tagon is pressured by the people who are angry that the union leader's killer is not caught yet knowing that this may lead to a bigger problem tagon decides to use a fake body of eunsome as evidence.
Mubaek saves eunsome and finds out that he is an igutu and takes him to a doctor. Chae Eun finds out that eunsome is the son of Asa Hon that means he is not only from arthadal but also a member of the white mountain tribe.
Mubaek knows eunsome's mother and how she is used for killing neanthal and on the flashback we see both Mubaek and Asa Hon liked each other maybe that's why I think he will help eunsome in coming episodes.
Tagon threatens Asa Ron and tells him that he killed his father and asks him to continue whatever he is doing while he becomes the union leader.
Asa Ron agrees and asks tagon to marry someone from Asa clan. Tagon tries to convince Taealha but she acts like she is convinced but makes a plan to kill Asa Ron and make Danbyeok take the blame. However, her plan gets spoiled by none other than saya.
Saya's lover saenarae ( Kim Jisoo) is killed by Taelha so in order to take revenge, he spoiled her plan by poisoning Danbyeok while Asa Ron is safe.
So basically he lost his lover so he made Taelha lose the man she loves as well.
Final Thoughts
Most of the viewers who almost dropped this drama changed their mind after the cliffhanger. Saya might not be the biological son of Tagon but they are both similar when dealing with situations.
Things got interesting
