Descendants of the suns star song Joong ki and song hye married two years ago. Song Joong Ki's lawyer on the behalf of song Joong Ki made an official statement that the couple is heading towards divorce.
The official statement is "Our law firm filed for divorce on behalf of Song Joong Ki at the Seoul Family Court on June 26."
Song Hye Kyo released her statement saying the reason for divorce is different in personality and because of that they can't overcome the differences between them.
The agency of Song Hye Kyo also requested not to make scandalous posts and speculative comments about the couple.
Song Hye Kyo is working on her new project "hyena" and her recent drama boyfriend ended January this year.
Song Joong Ki's "Arthdal chronicles" is airing right now in Tvn and available in Netflix for the international audience.
